How to use oud wood
On charcoal or an electric burner
Light the charcoal disc
Light it until it glows all over.
Place the charcoal disc on the burner
Use tongs: the disc gets hot quickly.
Wait for a layer of ash
Once a thin layer of ash covers the disc and its smoke settles, it is ready.
Place oud wood on the disc
A small piece releases its scent slowly; add another if you like.
On an electric burner: switch it on until it heats up, then place oud wood directly on it, no charcoal needed.
Safety and storage
- Never leave a lit burner unattended.
- Keep it away from children and fabrics.
- Air the room after use.
- Keep it in its closed pack, in a dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
